COCKHILL LEVEL     A short level not far from Gillfield Lead Mine on Greenhow Hill.  Driven in 1782 this horse level connected with  8 to 9 miles of interconnected mines under Greenhow and Coldstones Hill.  Today only a short section is now accessible.         Cockhill Level adit Looking out of the entrance A very shaley level Me in the Cockhill Level Low arch at the end of the accessible level End of the road Looking back towards the entrance Culvert under a shale fall Looking out of the entrance BACK
