Brimham Rocks are a number of balancing rock formations formed by glaciation during the last ice age and erosion.  Some of the formations which stand up to 30 feet (9m) in height have been named suck as the Sphinx, the Turtle, the Camel, the Dancing Bear and the Idol Rock.  The area was designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest in 1958.

Brimham Rocks are owned by the National Trust  and entry is free but car parking is charged for non-members of the NT.
The site is open from 8am to dusk.
