High Bentham
On
the northern edge of the Forest of Bowland is the small town of High
Benthan, to the west of which is the village of Low Bentham.
 | There
are several pubs worth visiting in High Bentham, catering for a variety
of tastes. The Coach House in the town centre has the distinction
of being exactly halfway between Lands End and John O'Groats.
Just opposite is the Black Bull which draws a lively crowd at the
weekends and nearby is Hoggs 'n' Heifers, which hosts live music and is
popular with motorcyclists. The Horse and Farrier on the road to
Low Bentham is also worth checking out. Low Bentham has two pubs, the Punchbowl and the Sundial, the latter sometimes hosts live music. BACKAnother view of High Bentham |
