Garsdale Station

The A684 is a slow, but pretty drive of some 15 miles (25km) from Sedbergh to Hawes in Wensleydale. Nothing much seems to happen here in Garsdale and the village itself is a scattered affair, which easily goes unnoticed apart from it's filling station that is now closed. There are no pubs here, not until Garsdale head where upon passing under a Settle to Carlisle viaduct near Garsdale Station you pass the remote Moor Cock Inn before descending into Wensleydale and Hawes.
