Leyburn Town Hall

Home to 2,200 people, the small town of Leyburn at the eastern end of Wensleydale offers a variety of attractions. The Elite Cinema unlike the modern out-of-town multiplexes is one of the few remaining traditional picture houses in the country, showing the latest films. There are several craft workshops and galleries including the unusual 'Teapottery' where teapots of amazing designs are made. The highlight of the week is the Friday Market. The Methodist church in Leyburn can be found next door to the Sandpiper Inn while St. Matthew's Church (Church of England) is within easy walking distance of the town centre, on the road to Middleham. The Wensleydale Evangelical Church is also in Leyburn.

Leyburn Teapottery can be visited on Leyburn Business Park and in
Keswick in the Lake District.
