| The village of Aysgarth halfway bewteen Hawes
and Leyburn is home to less than 200 people but it boasts
two good pubs and a National Park Centre for it is easily
the most popular spot in Wensleydale is Aysgarth Falls. Here the River Ure plunges down a series of
low waterfalls in a space of just under a mile (1500m)
which can be enjoyed from the safety of a nature trail
starting at the National Park Centre. The nature trail features a number of wood
sculptures and accesses the Falls at it's three main
points, Upper, Middle and Lower Falls.Aysgarth
