Bradford Pothole Club
Often
called "The Dump" from the days when caving clubs had only a tackle
dump in the Yorkshire Dales, Brackenbottom is the headquarters of the
Bradford Pothole Club, one of the leading caving clubs in the area.
Brackenbottom is on a small road which loops off the main B6479
Ribblesdale road just south of Horton in Ribblesdale.
Handy for some of the classic potholes on Penyghent, Brackenbottom has a changing room, drying room, kitchen, library, common room, two mixed sex and two single sex bunkrooms.
