Helwith Bridge Hotel

A wonderful pub on the Ribble Way overlooking the River Ribble and Settle to Carlisle Railway. There are also splendid views of Pen-y-Ghent and Ingleborough. Set back from the B6479 Settle to Horton road, this riverside pub was apparently built in the 1820's as a canteen for the local slate saw mill and later extended to accommodated workers on the Settle to Carlisle Railway. Today the local quarry still employs some of the regulars at the pub.

Several caving clubs, pub games teams and locals and visitors alike make the Helwith Bridge Hotel a thriving community pub.

Beers from John Smith's, Greene King, Websters, Theakstons, Marstons and Daleside.

Accommodation is available in a small bunkhouse with limited facilities where patrons of the pub can stay for a small fee.
