Village Green, Austwick.

Austwick is just off the A65 east of Clapham on the way to Settle. The village is a few yards inside the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The annual Austwick Cuckoo Festival and street market takes place during the Spring Bank Holiday (the last Monday in May).

Adjacent to the village green is the Church of the Epiphany, part of the Diocese of Bradford. Holy Communion services are held at 9:30 on the 1st, 3rd and 4th Sundays of each month and at 18:30 on the 2nd Sunday of the month. There is one pub in Austwick, The Gamecock and and a hotel with a bar and restaurant open to non-residents, The Traddock. Nearby on the main road is the Dalesbridge Centre.
