The
south-western part Peak
District straddles the countie of Cheshire and Staffordshire.
Of
interest here are the
copper mines at Alderley Edge, the Peak Forest, Cauldon and
Macclesfield Canals
and isolated villages such as Kettleshume and Flash. The Peak
District's most interesting pubs including the Cat & Fiddle
England's second
highest is found here. Manifold Valley is one of England's
prettiest and most secluded and nearby Dovedale forms the boundary
between Staffordshire and Derbyshire. |
