| Much of the Peak District lies in Derbyshire. All of the Peak's show caves are in this part of the Peak District as well as a number of interesting towns and villages such as Ashbourne, Bakewell, Castleton and Hathersage. To the south is Matlock, the spa town of Matlock Bath and Cromford with it's mills and canal. Extensive lead and other mineral mining occured in this area. |
