A pleasant 26 mile (42km) long canal with it's 12 locks concentrated in a single flight at Bosely. This canal is part of the Cheshire Ring which includes the Lower Peak Forest Canal, northern part of the Trent & Mersey Canal, Ashton Canal, Bridgewater Canal and a short section of the Rochdale Canal.
