Orpheus Caving Club Hut
   
Superb traditional "caving club hut" accommodation between Ashbourne and Buxton in rustic cottage next to the High Peak and Tissington Trails.
Not far from Water Icicle Close Cavern, the Cottage can accommodate up to eighteen people at the weekends and more if booked weekdays. Room for several tents outside. Changing room with showers and drying facilities.
Common room has stove and open fire.

The Chapel

The Chapel, Technical Speleological Group's hut
 
Ideally located right in the heart of Castleton in Derbyshire, the Chapel has all the characteristics of the classic caving hut and yet it is handy for the shops and pubs and it is only a few minutes walk from Peak Cavern and many of Derbyshire's classic caves are also nearby.

The hut is operated by the Technical Speleological Group which offers a wide range of caving activities throughout the Peak District and the U.K.

Royal Oak

Royal Oak Inn, Hurdlow
   
Bunk barn and camping is available at this pub at Hurdlow, three miles from the above-mentioned Orpheus Caving Club Cottage. The five bunk rooms can accommodation for up to 34 people in dormitary style rooms. The camp site has pitches for 20 tents.
The Royal Oak is on the High Peak and Tissington trails and offers drinks and meals in a great Peak District atmosphere.
