THREE STAGS HEADS Wardlow Mire
Three Stags Heads One of the most unspoilt pubs in Derbyshire, the Three Stags Heads dates from the 18th century and takes it's name from the
aristocratic Cavendish Family's coat of arms. This two roomed pub is full of rustic charm with flag stone floors, beamed ceilings and a cast iron range. Some seating outside. Car park on opposite side of the road. There is a camp site, run by a farm nearby for those who wish to stop overnight. The pub is on the A623 Manchester to Chesterfield road. Nearby is the village of Eyam, famous for isolating itself during the plague of 1665 and Carlswark Cavern, a cave offering trips to cavers of varying abilities.
