Nenthead Mines Conservation Society

   Assay House, Nenthead
Run by Nenthead Mines Conservation Society for B.C.A. members, the Assay Office Bunkhouse is ideally situated for the many mines that penetrate the North Pennines.  The two bunkrooms can sleep a total of 12 people in two bunkrooms.  There are two toilets and showers and the bunkhouse has central heating, catering facilities and seating area.  The Assay House is not available on open day weekends except for NMCS volunteers.
There is limited parking at the bunkhouse itself but plenty of room at the large car park at the bottom.
